The idea behind The Gift Lab Society came from wanting to do gifting differently. We envisioned a creative studio that wasn’t limited to a catalog of generic gift boxes, but instead felt more like a laboratory—a place where ideas, products, design, and personalization could come together to create something truly intentional.
That intention extends to every product we choose. We love discovering unique products from brands we believe in, including small businesses and local makers whose creativity, craftsmanship, and stories bring something special to each gift. Whenever possible, we’re proud to give these businesses a place in our boxes, creating an experience that feels meaningful for both the giver and the recipient.

The Gift Lab Society was born from its founders’ desire to create a project that would allow them to do what they love most: create, innovate, and turn their ideas into something meaningful.
Cristina, one of the founders, has always been drawn to the original, the thoughtful, and the creative. She finds inspiration in the little things and is always looking for ways to turn those details into something special—something that can be felt in the gifts we create.
Alfredo, on the other hand, loves to build. He is passionate about wood, structure, and figuring out how to bring an idea to life. He has a natural ability to take what exists in the imagination and turn it into something real.
From the union of a dreamer and a builder, The Gift Lab Society was born.

Nanao: A Passion for Chocolate, A Story Rooted in Family
Nanao’s story began in Miami during the pandemic, when founder Maria Eugenia Simosa was working as a chef at an emergency hospital. While creating vegan desserts and snacks for medical staff, she discovered new ways to bring together chocolate, flavor, and a more health-conscious approach to treats.
When her workplace closed, she turned an unexpected challenge into an opportunity to share her passion with the world through her own chocolate brand.
The name Nanao holds a special meaning: it was created from the last letters of her family members’ first names, Juan, Maria, Sebastian, Andrea, and Pablo. A personal touch that reflects the family and passion at the heart of the brand.
